Project Description
ONE Subiaco construction is progressing well. Com-Al Windows is currently installing on level 8, 9 and 10 and is about to start the install of the lower buildings. We are very proud of our team, keep up the good work guys!
We estimate that this landmark project will require up to 10,000 square meters of High-Performance Low E laminated glass and over 86 tonnes of aluminum extrusions.
So far Com-Al Windows have made over 100 deliveries to the site and cut, machined, and assembled over 1000 windows. A project of this size requires a high level of coordination, planning, and technical expertise. Complex OHS and quality control hold points are required to achieve the best possible product for Multiplex and Blackburn.
ONE Subiaco is one of the biggest residential projects undertaken in Western Australia and has three exclusive buildings – Rokeby, Roberts, and Seddon – with each building having its very own unique character. Seddon will comprise approximately 120 resort-style apartments. Rokeby will have a contemporary, trendy style and Roberts will have up to 100 traditional style apartments. There will be a mix of up to 245 high-end luxury residences, alfresco cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and a market pavilion. Located on the top floors, there will be beautifully designed Penthouses, with up to 1100 square meters of floor space, with views right across Perth.
Premier Mark McGowan recently made the following statement:
“I’m pleased to join WA-owned business, Blackburne, and congratulate them on their efforts in developing a project that is truly in a class of its own and has a great offering that will support the local economy, tourism and brings life back to a historic Perth inner-city suburb of Subiaco. It’s projects like ONE Subiaco that will deliver a boost in activity and support WA jobs.
