Congratulations to ICON and our team at Com-Al Windows, led by Darryn and Martin, and our fixer and glaziers on another successful project.
Com-Al Windows designed, manufactured, and installed the window façade using all their own equipment including Genie scissor lifts and EWP’s as we as their own Maeda crawler crane.
Our first major delivery was in June and our last will be towards the middle of December. Over 5,000 separate components were delivered to the site including fixings, consumables, glass, and framing.
The commercial window and door design included Capral 250×55 Flushline framing with a Dulux Duratech Eternity Bronze Pearl Satin on the external, with the Com-AL100x45 suite on the internal with 6.38 clear laminated glass.
Com-Al provided its own commercial extrusion systems as well as Capral’s on this architecturally designed building.
The commercial glass was a 24mm argon-filled double glazed unit with high-performing EuroGrey. In the main entry, the client had us supply and install security/ballistic glass that was laminated with an SGP interlayer.
ASSA Abloy provided a revolving door to the main entry.
